Transfer from Trapani Center to Trapani Airport

      Trapani Apr 7, 2014 at 2:23 PM

I am currently considering visiting Sicily for this Summer in July. Can someone give me information about transport from the Trapani Airport to Trapani Center, because I cannot find much information.

I know about AST Bus Service, but the flight will arrive at 23.35 in the evening, so I don't think that is viable. And still I do not know where the stages are in Trapani Center (I can use AST Buses for the return). Can anyone send me a Google Maps link where the stages in Trapani Center are please?

And how much does a taxi (from Trapani airport to Trapani Center) for 4 people roughly cost please and at that time (23.35-40)? Thanks for any help.

      parking in Agrigento city

by Savl1 Online Now Aug 15, 2009 at 2:29 AM

I'll visit Agrigento by car. I read there is a parking near the entrance to valley of the temples. But on the way back I want to stop and see city Duomo. Where it is better to park a car in maximum proximity to Duomo ? Need Your recommendation.

      Hey!
I'm Joe from Puerto Rico. I'll go to Sicily in a cruise ship(this nov) just for one day..
and I want to see all the temples (or the best of Sicily).. can any one give me advice or a tip on how to get to the temples... I think the
best way is to get the train from Palermo to Agrigento and then take a bus (but, which one?).. I really don't know!

      Agrigento to Scala dei Turchi

by Oleh Online Now Aug 19, 2008 at 1:52 PM

      Hi there,
Is there a way to get from Agrigento to Scala dei Turchi apart from driving there? I don't want to rent a car and was wondering if there's some kind of public transport that could drop you off quite close to Scala? Many thanks.

      help for accomodation

by a96m97 Online Now May 31, 2007 at 6:59 AM

From what I found on the Internet, I understand there is ANY kind and ANY price of accomodations around Agrigento ... actually so many that I can't choose one!!

For those who have already been to or live in Agrigento: do you think it is better to stay in the centre of the city, closer to the Valley of Temples and the beaches (such as San Leone) or in a farm inland?

Has anybody stayed at Ciuci's Manor near Aragona, north of Agrigento? Since we have a little girl, we may enjoy the animals, lake, swimming pool there.

Thanks in advance and happy travelling to everybody!

    • the historical centre of Agrigento

by pippoalaimo Online Now Aug 30, 2005 at 9:18 AM

The importance of the historical centre of Agrigento can be pointed out when we have the blessed chance to visit it. The cathedral of San Gerlando, the patron of the city, the importance of the church od Santa Maria dei greci, Via Duomo, Via Atenea, Via Bac Bac, and small shops related to the old city of Girgenti so close to Luigi Pirandello, one of the most important dramatist of the last century. A magnificence of colors of sicilian life. galaimo@libero.it
