Weather in december-january in Agadir

Hello, From 27 december to 8 january, me and my wife want to visit Morocco. We have plane to Marrakech, where we want to spend 2-3 days and then we want to go to Agadir and/or Essaouira. I'm interested how is the weather, beach, ocean. The ocean water is cold ? We want to stay on the beach mostly and make some trip if the weather is not so good. I'm interested also into a good and cheap location to stay in Marrakech, Agadir/Essaouira. Thanks to all.
