Hi all. 23 white male and will be travelling back from India to the UK on a motorbike in roughly a year. Just wandering how safe it would be to pass through Afghanistan? Any ideas? Thought about going via the Khyber Pass. I know the situation changes all the time so shall try and get some good information closer to the time. Just wandering if anyone who is clued up on Afghanistan can provide any usefull ideas.... Peace + love Hutch
Hutch , Im not sure how much response you 'll get here on Afghanistan forum . Also post this in Pakistan forum . Vter "Imranthetrekker" is a professional guide and he's helped a lot of ppl in and around Afghanistan as well . Im sure he'd be able to help you and would be able to give you the info you need about that trip through Afghanistan . Regards , PTSD .

The situation will certainly have changed dramatically in a year's time (for better or worse, who can say?), but for the moment this would be insanity.
