    • Places to dance

      Durban Aug 30, 2015 at 4:06 AM

So here is an unusual one. We will be killing a few days in Durban on our honeymoon. Was wondering if there are any places on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening where you can do ballroom type dancing for fun and for free? Just like a social /spontaneous type event? We will be staying in Durban north but will have wheels :)

    • Cape Town - places for wedding photos in Constantia

South Africa Aug 7, 2015 at 12:58 AM

I'm looking for nice places to have wedding photos taken in November in Constantia. It doesn't have to be manicured garden type setting. Something more wild is also cool. And even a little bit of "off the beaten path" is fine. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks :)

    • What to pack. Can I wear shorts and white pants in August in Johannesburg?

      Johannesburg Aug 17, 2015 at 4:27 PM

I will be visitng friends and family at the end of August and have checked the weather forecast. It calls for highs right around 80 degrees farenheit or above and lows around 50.

Last time I visited in August, I saw women wearing long sleeves and pants, dark colors, sweaters and boots! I will boil to death in those clothes. Can I wear shorts without looking ridiculous? Can I wear white jeans, capris or shorts? Leaving very soon and would love some fashion/packing advice.

      11:00 or 15:30 Safari

by Sunshine64 Online Now Sep 24, 2009 at 2:43 PM

We are taking a day trip to Addo. The park offers 3 elephant back safaris each day, but we likely wouldn't get there in time for the first, at 8:00. Does anyone have any experience / input on the pros and cons of the 11:00 vs. the 15:30 times?

      One day visit to Addo

by BE001903 Online Now Jan 25, 2009 at 5:26 AM

During our trip (self drive ) in South Africa we plan to stay 2 nights in Oyster Bay Lodge (near St Francis bay ). Would it be feasable to drive up to Addo Elephant park just for the day?
Can you drive around with your own car in the park or do you need to tag along with organised game drives?
Would we need to make reservations upfront?
Or is there other stuff we need to take care of in advance?

    • Addoo Elephant National Park Without A Car.

by brianpeartrees Online Now Feb 6, 2008 at 11:13 AM

We will be travelling from Cape Town by Greayhound Coach to Port Elizabeth and wonder if it is possible to get to the National Park without hiring out a car. We have booked accommoadation for three nights in the park and sunrise game drives but wonder if it would still be best to hire a car?
Any tips would be very much appreciated.
