There is a public bus that goes to Yas Island, it costs only 1 dh, when you reach the AD bus terminal you can ask someone, I think they leave from there. I am not sure since I have never taken the bus, but I have seen the bus to Yas Island. The taxi ride may cost you around 50 dhs.

If you visit Buj Dubai bus station you can take taxi going to Abu Dhabi it will cost you around 30 AED. Then from Abu Dhabi bus station you take local taxi it will cost maybe around 10 – 20 AED. Make sure take taxi with meter if they stated it’s not working – take one which works. Have fun in Abu Dhabi

There is no way that the taxi fare will be only 10-20 dhs. The prices have significaly gone up. To give you an example, the fare to Mussafah is around 30-40 dhs, and Yas Island is further.
