can anyone tell me what aberdeen is like for new year celebrations....do they have any special events organised?

Hi there, The band WET WET WET are scheduled to play in Aberdeen town centre this Hogmanay. On previous years THE PROCLAIMERS and DEACON BLUE have featured. It is usually a very good night. I'm 40 now but still good live music. Hope this helps. All the Best Hardclimb

i also will be going to aberdeen at new year and wondered if any of the thistle hotels have entertainment at the bells?
